Short Bio
I am originally from Bee Spring, KY and after finishing high school, I entered college with no idea of what I really wanted to do. After a couple of years working multiple jobs and attempting more hours at Western Kentucky University (WKU), I decided to join the Army. I served as a military policeman and stayed on active duty for a little over 5 years. I attended Air Assault School, Airborne School, Special Reaction Team, and completed the Special Forces Assessment and Selection course at Camp Mackall, Ft. Bragg, NC. After transitioning out of the military, I went back to WKU with laser-like focus. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Chemistry and Math. I completed an M.S. in Engineering Technology Management at WKU and wrote a thesis titled "The Effects of Goal Setting in a Developmental Algebra Course." I earned an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership at WKU in August, 2017. My dissertation is titled "Overcoming failure - Characteristics of leaders who have successfully recovered from a significant setback." I learned so much about how people react to failure and how resilience manifests through coping and adaptational mechanisms. I have 17 years in the workforce where I've been employed primarily in industrial jobs as a quality engineer and quality manager. I taught developmental algebra at WKU for six years and was a business owner for eight years. It has been a setting of struggle, leadership, perseverance, and creativity. I began taking acting classes in 2014 and attended numerous actor, TV Cast, and audition workshops. I was cast as the lead male role for Soldier's Joy in 2016 and currently have several projects in the works. I am extremely grateful for the multiple opportunities in film and roles in several TV Series.
